Cindy-Lou got to go on her first RV road trip over the 4-day Columbus day weekend. We took a short road trip to Truckee with my helper Amanda, her parents and their GSD Cherish. Cindy-Lou behaved perfectly, loves to ride in any vehicle and again has rock solid house manners. She got into my drivers seat one time when we stopped, but not again after that when she was told not to. She got to play in the Truckee River and loves to pull rocks out of the water. This dog is ready to go wherever you do.
I picked up Baird in September and I have been fostering him with Cindy-Lou. Baird's full bio here.
He has good house manners, rides well in the car, and gets along with all other dogs that he has met. It appears that he has had some overly harsh leash corrections in the past and is a little leash sensitive. He seems to be a little timid of new people at first as a result but quickly warms up to you when he knows you mean no harm. He plays well with Cindy-Lou, including dog toys, but he is very food protective and eats so fast like he hasn't eaten in a long time. His eating has gotten slower, and better, with the use of a "slow feeding" bowl. He needs an experienced owner who can help him improve his confidence and enforce pack structure. Due to his reactiveness to food he should not go to a home with small children. Zodiac's adoption was finalized on the Roseville AD day on Saturday September 26th. Zodiac and his new owner already had a good bond, hooray for Zodiac.
