Cindy-lou came back last Saturday and is available for adoption. She did not work out at her FTA home because she did not want to leave the resident horses alone as she has a strong herding drive. She currently weights in at about 60 pounds and has fit right back into her normal routine at my house.

I'm a little behind on my updates but Argo went foster to adopt on Saturday September 20th. He worked out so well in his new home that they finalized his adoption last Saturday.
So after a week with Argo this is my opinion of him.
He is a happy curious guy that just needs to learn some manners and boundaries. The first day he pooped in the garage and peed once in the house. Both resulted in a correction and time in the crate; he has had no accidents since then and uses the dog door to let himself outside. The first night he was locked in the crate, he whined a little about it at first but slept quietly throughout the night. The next two nights he slept on a dog bed but locked in my bedroom as I slept. He slept quietly all night without bothering me. Since then I have left the bedroom door open so he can go out if needed and he has had no issues. He is locked in a crate when I leave or go to work and whines at first but settles quickly. He is a little mouthy which might scare younger kids. We are working on this and he is improving fast. He needs to be reminded not to jump up and he is a little pushy when he wants attention; he tries to put a paw on you or climb onto the couch with you. He meets other dogs with excitement but just wants to play and will avoid confrontation. His excitement to play my be too much for smaller dogs. It is unknown how he is with cats but he does not seem to have a high prey drive. Argo seems to have little socialization and everything is new to him. He still hasn't quite figured out mirrors and reflections yet as he tries to get the "other dog" to play with him. All Argo needs is for someone who will take him out and expose him to the world, practice dominant dog rules and enforce rules and boundaries. After a road trip to just north of Ukiah miss Cindy-Lou is FTA. Country home with horses and surrounded by woods and vineyards. She has play pals of Gunner (another dutch shepherd) and Ruby (a small collie). The older female collie and her were cordial and sniffed each other apprioately. She and the male Dutch played and played and played until they were worn out.
John M I picked up Argo from the Modesto adoption day today and he was introduced to Cindy-Lou; they are already play buddies. My first impression of Argo is that he is a happy go lucky guy that just needs a little direction and structure in his life. He is curious about everything and tries to climb up on the couch with you. He is also a little "mouthy" when he plays. Everything I've seen so far should be easy to correct and he is going to make a great companion for someone. I will update with more information when I learn more about him.
Judge's adoption was finalized today so he is now at his forever home. Yea Judge!
